Welcome to Harrowby Lane Methodist church in Grantham and our Sunday morning services. You are very welcome to join us as we worship God each week. We start at 10.30am and serve tea and coffee after the service.
Our services are contemporary with musicians and singers and a mixture of old and new songs and hymns. We use screens to display the words for the songs and any other information. Books and Bibles are also available if required.
We have different preachers each week from the circuit and our minister Rev. Neil Maynard preaches monthly. When Rev Neil preaches we also have Holy Communion which is open to all.
Everyone is welcome to come to join us on a Sunday, whether you have a faith or are exploring. It also does not matter if you are a Methodist or of another denomination. For more information on what a Methodist is please see our FAQ page.
We welcome children to our Sunday morning services. We do not have any specific children’s groups running during the service but do have an area for children and some activity boxes, colouring and crafts. Our main children’s work is fortnightly on a Sunday afternoon at The Hub and monthly at Saturday Searchers. Click here for more information on our children’s groups.

Our Wednesday Reflective Service is from 10:30 am – 11 am every Wednesday, it is followed by coffee and a chat in the hall – joining the Wednesday Wellbeing Group.
Meeting in the worship area, there are short passages from the Bible, a mixture of modern and traditional hymns, current examples of God at work, and inspirational thoughts to carry us through the week.
It’s a time to reflect on the goodness of God in the company of other Christians.
We use the Lectio 365 app as the basis of our service. Our minister and lay members of the congregation take it in turns to lead us. It’s always an uplifting time together and anyone is very welcome to join us
You are welcome to join us for our praise and prayer service on Sunday evenings. A relaxed service with worship, prayer and space to worship God in your own way.
We meet every third Sunday evening (excl. August) at 6.45 pm for refreshments, starting at 7pm.
